New World Shakespeare Company is pleased to announce auditions for Shakespeare’s Love’s Labours Lost, directed by Blayne Willey. Auditions will be held on Sunday, December 1st at 2pm in the 3rd Floor Auditorium of The Leonardo. 209 E 500 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. Actors will be asked to read from the script. Headshot and resume are appreciated but not required. All roles are open and volunteer positions.
Rehearsals will begin Sunday, December 8th and be held 2 weekday evenings and 1-2 weekend afternoons. Actors and crew must be available for technical rehearsals on February 10 and 11 plus for performances on February 13-16 and 21-23.
New World Shakespeare Company produces classic scripts with modern interpretations to relate to audiences more directly. Each production is also accompanied by a charitable campaign for a local cause that relates to the theme of the show.
