Rehearsals: Typically Monday - Thursday 6:30pm - 9:30pm and Saturdays
Performances: January 24th - February 15th. 12 performances. Fridays at 7pm and Saturdays at 1pm & 4:30pm
Actors receive a travel reimbursement of $75 for the run.
There’s a lot of physicality in the show. Everybody needs to have pantomime and physical comedy skills.
Superfan/Narrator - This character must be able to improv and interact with the audience on the fly
Casey - big, brash, egomaniacal, star baseball player (20-35)
Noodles Watson - charming, easygoing, Frogtown pitcher (18-30)
Jake Keene - an unpleasant, dishonest reporter (20-40)
Russ Arbuckle - general manager of the Frogtown Polliwogs (>30)
Buster Benton - general manager of the Mudville Nine (>30)
Earl Spade - comical Mudville player (20-35)
Ethan Spud - comical Mudville player (20-35)
Ginger - a Frogtown fan (18-30)
Abigail - a Frogtown fan (18-30)
Amelia Peyton - a young Frogtown fan, a little tomboyish (11-14)
Sammy Peyton - Amelia’s younger brother (8-10)
Charlie - a friend of the Peyton children who likes being contrary (9-12)
Sinclair - another friend of the Peyton kids (9-12)
