Utah Repertory Theater Company and Silver Summit Theatre Co. are excited to announce open auditions for the Utah premiere of August: Osage County by Tracy Letts, directed by Mark Fossen.

Auditions will be held at the new Sugar Space @ River District at 130 South 800 West in Salt Lake City on Saturday, March 22. A photo and resume are recommended.
Callbacks will be by invitation only the following day: Sunday, March 23 from 10-1.
This is a non-paid/volunteer opportunity.
Rehearsal dates are Saturday, July 5, 2014 through Thursday, August 14, 2014. Rehearsals will be 6-10 Monday through Friday (6-11 during tech), and 10-2 on Saturdays. Production dates are Friday, August 15, 2014 through Sunday, August 31, 2014.
Those auditioning are encouraged to be familiar with the play and its characters beforehand. There is adult content, situations, and language throughout the play. (As a movie, it was rated R.) All auditioners must be 18 years of age or older, and we are looking to cast age-appropriate according to the descriptions below
The cast is 7 women, 6 men. All roles are available except for the three noted below, which have already been cast.
