Audition Notice for “Amadeus”

Utah Repertory Theater Company is holding open auditions for their production of “Amadeus”. All roles are available. “Amadeus” is directed by JC Carter.

Auditions are June 24 and 25, from 7-10 pm each night at the Sugar Space Warehouse Theater, 180 South 800 West, Salt Lake City. Auditions will be held in the house on the North West corner of the property.

Performances will run Sept. 11 - 28. Rehearsals will begin in July. There will be a rehearsal schedule at auditions.

Please prepare a 1-3 minute monologue or scene that is a mixture of both drama and comedy. If desired, groups of 2-4 auditioners may prepare a 2-5 minute scene in place of a monologue. It is expected that everyone in the scene is auditioning and will be judged by their individual performances and not necessarily as a group.

Callbacks will be held June 29 and are by invitation only.

Actors will be paid a modest stipend per show. No AEA Contracts are available for this production.

Actors under 18 are required to have parental permission before auditioning. The director is considering all ages.
