Naughty Zanni Productions Presents the U.S. Premier of Midway by Ira Gamerman

After a drunken kiss at a company function, David and Catherine learn the difference between being close enough to touch lips and 727 miles. When David moves from Baltimore to Chicago to pursue his dream of being an Improv comedian, he and Catherine must face the hard reality of what gets sacrificed in attempts to make love conquer all.

Ira Gamerman is an American playwright, musician, actor, and journalist from Baltimore, Maryland. His plays have received readings and productions all over the USA and Australia at such prestigious venues as the Conference, the Kennedy Center Page To Stage Festival, the Great Plains Theatre Conference, The DC Source Festival, World Interplay, and Collaboraction. Ira is currently pursuing his MFA in playwriting at Ohio University. Gamerman was also voted "Best Playwright" in City Paper's 2006 Best of Baltimore Awards and noted as one of "15 Young Baltimore Theatre Artists to Watch" by Broadwayworld.com.

Naughty Zanni Productions was formed in 2008 by Aaron Spencer, Brandon Tessers, Eb Madson, Logan Black and Steve Jackson.  The five of them are all graduates of the University of Utah's Actor Training program and continue to work in theatres across the country.  Naughty Zanni's mission is to challenge, engage and inspire  our community with explosive and thought provoking theater of our generation as well as new spins on contemporary and classic plays. With a commitment to collaboration we strive to explore, confront and affirm what it means to be artist of  this generation.
