So an very magical amazing thing happened to me recently:  I stopped worrying about my appearance.

I think it was a combination of living on the east coast, aging into my 30's, feeling completely secure in a relationship I couldn't have dreamed to be better, and perhaps an all-to-brief love affair with the ganj, but one day I realized that previous insecurities about my weight were gone, and the way I dressed became more low-key.

Or, it could be that I rarely leave the house, get dressed, or interact with anyone other than my wife.

The side effects have been 2-Fold:  I haven't purchased new clothing for quite some time, which is great, except now most of my clothes are worn out and 2) I've gained 5-10 lbs so buying new clothes would require buying bigger clothes than I want to weigh.

So I guess I only really feel comfortable with my body if I don't have to squeeze it into a pair of jeans that used to fit me great.

Time to get back to the gym.
