All other things being equal, if you discovered you were eternal, though remained a part of this world (like a vampire I guess, but not vampiric, for lack of a faster way to define what I mean), what would you do with yourself?  How would you arrange your life?  Where would you go?

There is one thing you never put in a trap, if you're smart - if you value your continued existence - if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow there is one thing you never EVER put in a trap. Me.

Listen, I don't know what sort of kids you've been flying around with in outer space, but you're not telling me to shut up!

As long as I don't bleed or cry, I'll do it!

How I would react to this would depend entirely on whether loved ones were also "eternal".

Presume upon both situations.

I would set up my life goals to be a lot different than they are now.  I would plan to spend most of my time in study and research, in traveling the Earth and gaining knowledge.  I would make long term financial investments and plan for thousands of years in the future rather than a few decades.  I would build up a place that would be protected from natural disasters and would withstand millions of years of wear with the maintenance I could provide.  I would fill it full of things I felt were important to preserve, like art and history.   I'd gain as much knowledge of advancing technology as possible and try to create a TARDIS or some way of traveling through time and space, because eventually the sun WILL burn out and there will be no more Earth to live on and I don't fancy floating through space for eternity, alone.

Am I unkillable? Am I ageless? These things make a difference.

My sons say they would rob banks to make money and fake their deaths to escape the law.  And that's my teenage boys for ya.

And see, I am nearly convinced that if I were "eternal", I would be the laziest thing that was ever created. I would lounge and laze and do whatever I wanted and never finish anything or go anywhere because eh, I have time. I think it would make me worse than I am already.

You're like Captain Jack, with no idea if or when you might end.

Thanks for answering my questions. I'll have to give it more thought.

I would be a reluctant participant in the game of hunting down other eternals, cutting off their heads with archaic weaponry, and absorbing their powers, bacause, as we all know, there can be only ONE!!!

My skills are as varied as they are impractical.
