The producer of this show recently ordered all 4 of Liken's musicals based on the Book of Mormon. At least they are doing quality research.

For what it's worth here's the breakdown from the audition notice for the workshop of "The Book of Mormon."

I'm very curious to see how this all ends up.

Breakdown:

Arnold Cunningham:
Seeking an actor 18+ to play 18. Arnold could be dweeby, dorky, nerdy or all three combined. He is a pathological liar, but his heart is in the right place. He is a total screw-up, but not for lack of trying; he always wants to do the right thing. Seeking a fantastic comedic actor who sings well. LEAD.

Kevin Price:
Seeking an actor 18+ to play 18. Character is All-American. Head of the class, always optimistic. Heroic Mormon. Must be a great comedic actor and singer. High tenor.

Mafala Hatimbi:
African American man, 40s. Father of Nabalungi. Has come to accept the hardships in the village where they live, but is a shrewd community leader and tries to bring joy to their lives. Must be a great comedic actor and singer.

Father Price:
40s. Perfect picture of the head of a Mormon household. A real family man. Actor plays several parts; ability to be transformative needed. Must be a great comedic actor and good singer.

Nabalungi:
CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary. Age 20. African princess. Pretty. Takes the hardships of her village very seriously, and wants to help her people find a better life. Great belt voice. Must have great comic timing.

Hmm. I wonder what the "pathological liar" part is all about...

"Depends.  Did you feel anything for the pumpkin?  The midgets?"  -Wildcard&&&&If Mary Matalin and James Carville can make it work, ANYONE can.  The end.
