Do to recent events in my life I have decided to go back to school and get a teaching degree, teaching theatre. I know there is a couple of people on here that teach drama and wanted to know of any school recommendations, even outside of Utah, and what I need to be prepared for.

This is a girl who has had her heart broken
Cried for continuous hours
Yelled and screamed for help
A girl who turned her back on the world
and a girl who did nothing but love someone.

I am in a program at UVU that is awesome. It's a post-baccalaureate  where you get your teaching certification.  If you have your theatre degree it takes two semesters plus student teaching. I highly recommend it. Good luck!

I went to the U and did the Masters route as well.  If you want to go to the U now as an undergrad you have to major in Theatre Studies and Minor in Education.  I think I was in the last group that went through the Theatre Ed program there.  From what I understand USU and Weber both have great programs.  I'm sending students to both.
