I'm going to echo the last two comments. It was stunning. Simply the greatest theater experience of my life (and I've seen a lot of shows). There was such an energy in the audience and on the stage. Audra has such an amazing capacity to make you feel the same things she is feeling. You learn to know and care for and love Lizzie. Your heart breaks when hers does and you cheer for joy when she's happy. One of the few times I jumped to my feet the second the curtain call started. And then when Audra came out I didnt know what else to do. What is bigger than a standing ovation? So I just joined the rest of the audience in yelling!

The whole show was staged beautifully and simply, leaving you free to watch the performances without any distractions whatsoever.

Amazingly there are still tickets available. Go to the theater's website or call them. They have also been selling any unsold tickets at 6:60 pm for $25 each! That is how we saw it on Saturday and we were lucky enough to get amazing seats. We actually felt guilty for seeing it for so cheaply and will be making a donation to the theater in the near future.

I'm pretty sure the time those tickets go on sale is actually 6:30. Wink

Oops.  Yes, 6:30. Thanks. There still might be some tickets available at 6:60, but you would be better off going at 6:30.  We checked out the website before we left to make sure there were still tickets available. Interestingly we were given tickets that showed as sold on the website.

Audra....I didn't even know that anyone could be so amazing.I've honestly never seen a performance like hers in my life.Never.Her fabulous voice aside...she was SO honest and focused and energized and uninhibited.I feel like a better performer after just WATCHING her.

I totally agree. This was a master class in acting! Absolutely breathtaking! To see even an actual physical change in her during the course of the show was amazing to watch. I will never forget this experience!

Crazy world, full of crazy contradictions like a child; first you drive me wild, and then you win my heart with your wicked art; one minute tender, gentle; then tempramental as a summer storm; just when I believe your heart's getting warmer. Your cold and your cruel, and I like a fool try to cope. Try to hang on to hope. Crazy world, everyday the same old roller coaster ride, but I've got my pride, I won't give in; even though I know I'll never win. Oh how I love this, crazy world! -- Henry Mancini
