PARABLE PRODUCTIONS is holding auditions for �The Cross and the Switchblade�, to be performed May 6-22 at Calvary Chapel Salt Lake City, 460 W Century Drive.

The play is the true story based on the lives of Pastor David Wilkerson and ex-gang leader, Nicky Cruz. The play has been updated to current times to make it more accessible to audiences today. Directed by Annie Fields.

There is no pay except tresures in heaven, but no fees of any kind will be charged, plus we will feed you a lot!

All roles are open, except the small role of Gwen.
Need strong actors for the roles of David and Nicky.

David Wilkerson   Clean cut, wholesome, God fearing and believing, although a bit na�ve.  25-35

Nicky Cruz   Spanish. Angry, passionate, tough gang member who makes a change.   18-25

Gang Kids of all races. Need Spanish, Black and Caucasian or Mixed. Boys and Girls 14-24. Break Dancing a plus.

Men and Women   25-75 for various different roles.

Also need a male trumpet player and someone interested in video production and editing for multimedia use in show, plus anyone else interested in other technical areas. Also using original hip hop and rap music for anyone interested in just the music side of the production.

7:00 pm � 9:30 pm

Come prepared to read from the script. Bring a photo and resume if you have one, but not required.   
Rehearsals are M, Th, F nights and Sat mornings starting March 15
