I am selling my size 9 black character shoes for $20.  They are in great condition- only used through rehearsals for one show.  They always just seemed too tight on me so I just bought a 9 1/2 which is proving to be a MUCH better fit.
If you are 8 1/2 in everyday shoes, these 9's should be perfect.
