So there are a few shows that I would love to see a semi-professional company/theater in the Salt Lake Valley do... anyone heard talk of any of them being produced around SLC?  Also interested to hear what other shows y'all would like to see done locally.
Want to do or see:
-Parade
-Pirate Queen
-Songs For A New World  (Didn't they do this at Weber?  Has it been done in the Salt Lake Valley?)
-The Wiz
-Oliver
-SHAKESPEARE
-Joseph... Dreamcoat (Haha- just kidding)

Your thoughts?

So I just finished listening to the soundtrack of Parade the whole way through and have reiterate by saying this:

Dear Producers in SLC,
PLEASE DO PARADE!

Sincerely,
Belter

I don't know about the musicals, but Shakespeare is done every summer in SLC by Salt Lake Shakespeare.

I was juuuuust going to say it is not terribly hard to find Shakespeare if you're looking. That one bewildered me.

THIS. i LOVE the music in Kismet. If you don't swoon when you hear "Stranger in Paradise", then...well...just...you have no heart. I mean...i can't even...really. Beautiful.

I think my favorite is "Not Since Nineveh", but yeah, Stranger in Paradise is a beautiful song!

-Parade - It's a stupid show with ho-hum music.
-Pirate Queen - I wouldn't go see this show again if THEY paid me.  It is a HORRIBLE show.
-Songs For A New World - No audience for it in SLC.
