Seriously, I didn't even know A-Ha had an album released in 1990. And I have it. It's really not very good, but I've decided that I'm going to listen to EVERY SONG in my collection during the next year... or at least try. I've started a playlist of songs that have playcount = 0. The first album was A-Ha East of the Sun, West of the Moon. So I'm listening now.

maybe 60,000. I'm sure I've listened to them, but there is a 0 play count in iTunes right now. I last had to rebuild my library in early 2008 and lost all my data prior to that.

Oooh! I can get fairly obsessive about play counts if I give myself the time. I can get really annoyed if a song I love somehow has a lower play count than a song that I like a little less. Is it random play? What is it?

currently it's just a smart playlist limited to 100 tracks chosen randomly where playcount = 0.� As the songs are played, they fall off the list.� I do need to update it though to specify no video or podcasts...

I don't know why the screen shot shows 4 in the playcount... it's 0. Huh

Because when you take a screenshot it is "shift" + "Command" + "4" ?

so, due to this experiment... I have come to the conclusion that I LIKE Blake Lewis. Yes, THAT Blake Lewis, the one from American Idol. Not his first album, but his 2nd one is quite good.

You've tempted me to do this, I just completely redid my computer so they are all at 0, and have a bunch of this stuff from Brittneys IPOD so I don't even know what I have. But this should be fun experiment.
