Yes!

Crazy world, full of crazy contradictions like a child; first you drive me wild, and then you win my heart with your wicked art; one minute tender, gentle; then tempramental as a summer storm; just when I believe your heart's getting warmer. Your cold and your cruel, and I like a fool try to cope. Try to hang on to hope. Crazy world, everyday the same old roller coaster ride, but I've got my pride, I won't give in; even though I know I'll never win. Oh how I love this, crazy world! -- Henry Mancini

Vote which directors you'd like to start showcasing. You can vote more than once. Just because someone isn't on the list doesn't mean they aren't potentially a fututre candidate, except for M. Night Shyamalan.

P.S. Most of the time these will be hosted at my new place in Taylorville, on a big-screen projecter (which I got at D.I. for 20 bucks  Smiley) and in high quality home theater sound.

I don't have a name for the group at this point. I'd rather call it something new than just carry over the old one, since this is not quite the same thing and we're on a new board. Any suggestions are welcome.

Why aren't there any lady directors on there?

There is one thing you never put in a trap, if you're smart - if you value your continued existence - if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow there is one thing you never EVER put in a trap. Me.

Listen, I don't know what sort of kids you've been flying around with in outer space, but you're not telling me to shut up!

As long as I don't bleed or cry, I'll do it!

Don't be silly.  Women stay at home and do laundry.  They don't direct films!

Point taken. I will add names like Kathryn Bigelow and Sofia Coppola to later lists.

Actually, one of the most brilliant filmmakers of all time, instrumntal in inventing the art form, was female, but I don't want to have a Leni Reifenstaall night.
