This board is for Auditions postings ONLY and not an open forum for discussion, with the exception of when an auditions posting needs further clarification. Please keep your posts relevant to this board and to each thread therein.

When announcing an audition, please be sure to include the following information:

In the Subject line: Please put the name of the show and the Date of the Audition.

In the message please try to include:

• The name of the production
• The name of the director
• The name of the production company
• The type of production (musical, comedy, drama, etc.)
• Where the auditions are being held, please include the street address for the location.
• When (day and time) for both the initial auditions and the call backs.
• What roles are being cast, and what, generally, you're looking for in those roles (also, please announce any roles that are pre-cast. You don't need to announce who will be taking the roles, just which roles are already filled).
• Where actors can pick up sides (if you have them available).
• What the auditioner will need to come prepared with (i.e., resume, headshot, a monologue, song, prepared scene, etc.)
• Also, please mention if there is any type of "participation" fee you'll be charging.

If an announcement needs clarification (do I need to call for an appointment?) or you wish more information (who is the director of this show?), please feel free to ask those questions and carry on that conversation in this forum so everyone can benefit from the information.

If, however, you feel the need to comment on the fact that this is 20th production of Joseph this year or anything like that, please take those comments elsewhere.
