The only issue I have is that there is a scroll within a scroll on the message boards... I don't know if that's a Firefox thing, or a Mac thing, I suppose I could check in Safari and see if I'm getting the same thing...

yes, same thing in Safari. When I go into a thread, the posts have a scroll section, but the page ALSO scrolls... it's weird.

That's because I'm accessing the boards through an <iframe>, which lets me display them on a static html page. The iframe was set for a height of 3000px, which accommodated the height of the boards when you first logged in. I've set it now for 10000px, which "should" eliminate the scroll within a scroll issue (and pushes the footer down a long long ways).

The scrolls within the posts when you reply is something the forum is doing to shorten everything up. I see that in every browser. Don't know if I can fix that, but without the extra scroll, you should be fine.

nope, still have the scroll within a scroll... guess I'll just have to get used to it.  It's not that big of a deal.  Smiley

The latest non-bug we've found...

The boards under the Biz Talk and Gossip sections require you to be 18 years of age, or older to view the messages in them. If you are not able to access those sections, it's either because you really aren't 18, or because you didn't fill in your birth date when you registered on PA. If it's the latter, go into your profile and enter your birth date (on the passwords page).

If you're actually younger than 18 and put in a false birth date, you should know that eventually you will be caught (many have been by our faithful sleuths), and that will result in your expulsion from the boards.

A question about modification: is there perhaps a way to make it so on multi-page threads you can hit a Show All and it will display the entire thread at once?  That was the main thing I missed on PA after some upgrade.  If it's possible here I'd be ever so grateful, but if not, I've lived with the unscratchable itch till now, I can continue.

I find I can't access some things like the Music portion of the message board.  I see you still have the paid membership board, but is the rest restricted as well?

See my post about 4 posts up from this one... you need to enter your birthdate so the boards know you're 18 or older.

Unfortunately, this makes it so I can't post anything from my iPhone the way I could on PA.  Just sayin'.   It's okay though, because I really shouldn't carry my posting habit with me everywhere.

I'm already considering dumping the iframe idea, there are other issues, such as when people come in from a link provided by the RSS feeds they just see the boards.

I've abandoned the iframe, this is now the "raw" boards (with my navigation, footer, and ad frame intact). If the formatting looks weird, refresh your browser (you may need to do a clean refresh if your browser is stubborn about its cache. To do that, hold down the Ctrl key and press the F5 key).
