AWESOME. I was in NYC last week and after the shows were over the cast would stand there and auction things off etc, and then come out into the lobby and chat with the audience and take donations. It was pretty awesome.

I LOVE that they are doing that. And to think that almost EVERY show in NYC is taking donations, and just ONE show raised 1.5 million...that is a LOT of money coming from theatre goers towards HIV/AIDS research. Pretty powerful stuff.

It is times like these that make me so proud to be a part of the theatre family.
