People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
give the world the best youve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

The Broadway production closed earlier this year, right?  Seems like it's been a while, anyway, but I admit I don't keep up with that stuff very well.

I saw it in Seattle before it went to Broadway and love love loved it!!!

It's like in a Hitchcock movie, you know, where they tie you up in a rubber bag and throw you in the trunk of a car. You find people.

I saw it on Broadway and was unimpressed.  The actors seemed stifled by a need to maintain the familiarity of the movie.  They did the best they could with what little of their own they could put into it.  Frau Blucher was fantastic.  Megan Mullaly was crap.  I was highly unimpressed and very sad to see her phone it in.  She acted like she was God's gift to theater and that we were privileged to be in her presence.  I did not get to see Shuler Hensley.  Though I will say the spectacle was great.

I liked the show a lot, it was funny, cute and the "Puttin' on the Ritz" number was FANTASTIC!

It's coming on tour to San Francisco in a few months. Is it stopping in Salt Lake?

It's a cute show, but totally understandable why it didn't have a long-run in NYC.

I'd go to see it if it stops in Utah.  I love the movie, and would hope they do Mel Brooks' ideas justice.
