Too bad one of the Billy Elliot guys will probably win, but kudos regardless!!

So speaking of Billy Elliot...I found it interesting that all 3 Billy's are nominated as one but when it came to Billy's friend Michael, only David Bologna was nominated (Best Featured Actor) and not Frank Dolce (his double).

Has this been done before where multiple actors (especially in the case of child actors) are all nominated?  Also, any ideas on why they wouldn't do the same thing for the part of Michael?

Just thought it was interesting.

Hmm, yeah, talk about a slap in the face!

Btw, here are some people's reactions to their noms, including Swenson's:

I'm also really happy that Christopher Sieber was nominated, even though it's unfortunately the same category. If either he or Will wins I will be happy indeed.

Both Billy Elliott actors nominated in this category were amazing too!  Tough category for sure...lots of talent.

Not only that, but a former American Idol contestant was nominated to boot!

After seeing Shrek I would not be surprised if Christopher Sieber AND the musical won the Tony. I'm not kidding either.

To paraphrase someone on another site - if simply watching the Tony's didn't make you gay before, NPH hosting them will do it.
