Who plays Hedda?

"Depends.  Did you feel anything for the pumpkin?  The midgets?"  -Wildcard&&&&If Mary Matalin and James Carville can make it work, ANYONE can.  The end.

Mary Louise Parker.  And the show was AWFUL!  I would rather have seen the Springville Community Theatre production.

Oh, you're making me so happy I caught The 39 Steps instead of Hedda.  I had a Saturday matinee up in the air and went for the comedy instead.  (whew)

Is it bad that I take perverse pleasure in that? I'm not much of a Mary Louise Parker fan, ever since a friend of mine told me she was on the crew of a New York production she starred in and Ms. Parker was a total B*&%^ to everyone.

"The 39 Steps"? Comedy? I'm confused. Is this in any way related to the classic Hitchcock film, which is not a comedy?

Yes.  Same story...four actors.  http://39stepsonbroadway.com/

Interesting. I'm unsure about turning one of the greatest thrillers of all time into a comedy, but I'll keep an open mind.

It's not the story that was a comedy...more of the execution.  One man playing the main character, one woman playing his various love interests, and two comic geniuses playing EVERYONE ELSE!

I must admit, there were points that I felt the actors were enjoying themselves more than I was...but the show is incredibly entertaining.  And any Hitchcock fan will enjoy all the loving homages to his other works.  (I nearly wet myself during the North by Northwest shadow play.)

But back to the subject at hand:

Suck it, Mary Louise Parker!  (shakes fist)
