I was actually hoping to see "Joseph" go down, not because i want to see it done less, but because I'm tired of it as the all-purpose synonym for "overdone." It's undeniably overdone, and cheesy as well, but there are a lot of other overdone shows out there I enjoy less. I'll take 12 "Joseph"s over 1 "Footloose". I can't believe that didn't make the list on Utah productions alone (please not that my dislike is of the material itself, not any particular productions. I have seen talented people stage and perform it well, I just think it's a ridiculpus plot full of maudlin moments and that the '80s pop musical clashes badly with the Broadway style songs, and the result is a musical that doesn't work).

Part of the reason Footloose isn't higher on the list is because most Utah theater companies don't have their entire production histories on their web sites.  So there aren't very many Utah companies on the survey.

Probably so they can hide the fact that they're illegal editing scripts (I say that just to be obnoxious Wink Grin)
