EMCT is proud to present Jane Austen’s “Sense and Sensibility” adapted for the stage by Mahonri Stewart and directed by Joey Calkins.
Performance dates are April 14, 15 16th at Hidden Hollow (Eagle Mountain).

Please prepare the following for your audition:
For all:
*A 1 to 2 minute monologue. Any style of monologue is fine. A British accent is encouraged, but not required.
For Marianne & Willoughby:
*Sing “Happy Birthday” a cappella
For Marianne:
*Sing a song in addition to “Happy Birthday”. Any song is fine, but classical/art songs are preferred (with piano, a cappella, minus track, or some other form of accompaniment is fine). The song Marianne sings is available in two keys: F and A-flat (ranges are C4 to F5 and E4 to A5, respectively). A lower key can be created if necessary.
For Lady Middleton and Marianne:
*Play a classical-style song on the piano. It doesn’t need to be complicated. Any period of “classical” music is fine…Baroque, Classical, 20th Century – to name a few. Though a piano solo arrangement of a Broadway song would be acceptable.
