Immigrant’s Daughter and Wasatch Theater Company are pleased to announce auditions for the world premiere of their Co-production, “Dreamers” by Ariana Broumas Farber; directed by Stephanie Stroud.
Auditions will take place in person on Thursday, September 29th at the Box Too from 6-9 pm. The Box Too is located at 130 South 400 West (at the Gateway).
Rehearsals will begin on November 11th and will be scheduled on weekdays from 6-10 p.m.
The show will run: December 1, 2 & 3 @ 7:30, December 4th at 2:00 pm, December 8th, 9th and 10th @7:30

Character Breakdown:
SVETLANA: An immigrant born and raised in Ukraine (age range: 25-35). She is working on obtaining her American citizenship when war breaks out between Russia and Ukraine. She works in a local laundromat and lives in the same building as Donnie. She has a thick accent and often refrains from speaking due to the language barrier. She is reserved and inhibited, but she opens up as the play progresses.
DONNIE: A mechanic born and raised in the Bronx (age range: 20’s). Lives in the same building as Svetlana and has a crush on her. Donnie speaks very fast with an Italian/New York accent littered with slang. He free style dances and raps. He believes GTL (gym, tan, laundry) is the key to life. He never holds back from saying anything he thinks.
The play is set in the Bronx, NYC. Please audition using the accent appropriate for the character you are interested in.
